This time four Mondays in Sawan are fasting.
Sawan’s first fast on Monday occurs on July 18th. Second Monday fast on 25 July, Third on 8 August and Fourth on 16 August.
On every Monday of Sawan, special worship of Lord Bholenath is done with Bel leaves.
To please Lord Shiva, his devotees also go to take Kawad this month.
This year, the Kawad Yatra will start from July 14. During this, devotees fill the water from the Ganges river and reach the Shiva temple and offer it to the Shivling.
Route plan of Kawad Yatra ready
- Heavy vehicles will be banned on UP Delhi Highway
- This time 4.5 crore Kawadiyas are expected to come.
- It is expected that more and more devotees will come here in Kawad Yatra like Char Dham and will offer water from the holy Ganges river to the Shivling.
- In such a situation, elaborate arrangements are being made by the government administration.
- From July 14, the devotees will start going on the Kawad Yatra.
- The Delhi NCR's Kawadiyas route is ready for route changes and outages.
- In this connection, the Noida Traffic Police made a 3 km route plan for the Kawad Yatra.
- Vehicles going towards Haridwar and Dehradun will be able to go from Meerapur via Ganga Barrage, Bijnor, Najibabad towards Haridwar and Dehradun.
This will be a turning route for the Kawadiyas:
- DCP Traffic said that Kawadiyas mainly go towards Rajasthan, Haryana and Mathura via Chilla border.
- Kawadiyas enter Delhi from Chilla border for Kawad Yatra and then leave from Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Sector-126 via Shani Mandir and Hindon Pusta.
